Dead Letter Office
A federal judge in Boston expanded her block on President Trump's mail-in voting executive order to bar the U.S. Postal Service from carrying it out in all 50 states, after previously limiting the block to the 23 mainly Democratic-led states and D.C. that sued. Judge Indira Talwani noted the federal government has never defended the order's constitutionality in district court, appeals court or the Supreme Court, and offered no evidence of fraudulent absentee voting. Her earlier June ruling awaits Supreme Court review.
